Sonotraining on the Personal Computer
The software offers an ideal foundation to
further qualify the gynaecologist/obstetrician in the detection of fetal
malformation by ultrasound as an
intense, time and
cost-effective further training of the obstetrician.
'Virtual hands-on'
The basic concept is that the user of the
software is virtually able to look over the shoulder of a highly
qualified examiner. This goal is reached especially through the
real-time video presentation with synchronized audio-commentary.
In combination with the ‘Interactive Atlas’
(still picture with mouse-over explanation function) an ‘learn-control-module’;
one finds an ideal connection between multimedia presentation and
screening of medical content. This would otherwise only be found in the
frame of a hospital/prenatal center setting. |

The presentation of the selected cases from the author opens for the
established gynecology practice the possibility to be a central part of
the expert pool.

with audio-commentaries of fetal malformations, more than 50 minutes of
video running time in excellent visual and didactic quality, accompanied
by scientifically researched text; as is over 200 chosen interactive
still-photos. Also included is a self-check questionnaire. It is an
ideal foundation for continuing education on the home or office PC. |
